As the city slumbers in the early dawn, a dedicated group of individuals diligently works in the empty streets and alleys. These unsung heroes, the city's sanitation workforce, selflessly dedicate themselves to maintaining the city's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
On October 26th, a special holiday for sanitation workers, the Nantong Tianhong Party Branch organized a day trip for all employees, themed "Weaving Connections and Shaping a Circle of Belonging". This event was designed to convey deep respect and sincere gratitude to these sanitation workers, often affectionately referred to as "city beauticians", while fostering a caring atmosphere for them within the community. Furthermore, the event sought to strengthen the bonds between party member and employees, fostering a more cohesive and harmonious workplace.
Qinhu Wetland Park boasts a captivating landscape featuring serene, mirror-like lakes, a network of winding rivers, and scattered islands. This, combined with a unique and fascinating wetland ecological environment and the distinctive folk culture of the Lixiahe River water town, has made it a destination known far and wide. During our visit, we enjoyed a boat tour across the tranquil lake, experiencing the beauty firsthand. We explored the science museum, strolled along the sequoia trestle, and reveled in the vibrant autumn foliage and scenery. We observed the elk and black swans, and also took careful note of the park's sanitation facilities: their rational layout and the efficiency of the cleaning staff. Throughout the vast scenic area, we appreciated the rich biodiversity and realized the importance of ecological environmental protection. We also gained valuable insights into excellent cleaning practices and methodologies.
Following our itinerary, we arrived at the ancient town of Qintong, a settlement with a history spanning over 2,000 years. Situated on the banks of Magpie Lake, the town's aged houses, constructed of green bricks and black tiles, bore witness to the passage of time. The winding streets and alleys exuded both the understated simplicity of a millennia-old town and a subtle blend of modern flair and the pride of progress. As we strolled leisurely through the town, we savored the gentle breeze, the picturesque bridges and waterways, and the palpable historical heritage under the warm sunshine, making the entire experience both relaxing and rejuvenating.
This activity provides a valuable opportunity for employees to unwind, while simultaneously fostering a renewed sense of enthusiasm for their work and personal lives. Looking ahead, Nantong Tianhong is committed to further diversifying the format and content of employee activities. This will serve to promote greater interaction and collaboration among staff, strengthen team cohesion and a sense of community, and ultimately contribute to the high-quality development of the urban sanitation business.
