Recently, the Chinese edition of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's book, Malaysia Madani (translated by Mr. Yan Lijin), was officially launched in Beijing. Prime Minister Anwar personally attended the launch event, and unveiled the Chinese edition.
CNTY CEO Cao Debiao was specially invited to the event by Prime Minister Anwar and the co-organizer, the Silk Road International Foundation of the China Association of Social Workers. This event was also attended by representatives from Malaysian government agencies, as well as experts, scholars, publishing institutions, entrepreneurs, and investors from both Malaysia and China.
"Malaysia Madani" is a governance philosophy introduced by Prime Minister Anwar at the outset of his tenure in November 2022. Grounded in six principles - sustainability, prosperity, innovation, respect, trust, and compassion - the philosophy aims to foster social cohesion, elevate people's quality of life, and improve the business environment, with the vision of guiding Malaysia toward a prosperous society. This book Malaysia Madani provides an in-depth exploration of the philosophy, meticulously analyzing its core concepts, policy framework, and far-reaching implications in the post-pandemic era. It not only enables Chinese readers to understand Malaysia better, but also holds significant value in promoting the building of a community with a shared future.
