With May Day holiday approaching, in order to create a clean and comfortable environment for citizens and tourists, Nantong Tianhong has taken multi-pronged measures to improve the public's sense of well-being and satisfaction as well as urban environment.
For roads with high traffic flow, food courts, bus stops, supermarkets, hotels, and shopping malls, manual and mechanical operations are combined flexibly to carry out high-standard, high-quality cleaning, sweeping, flushing and dust reduction.
High-pressure flushing vehicles are used to flush rubbish bins, fruit bins, bus stops and other facilities along the main and secondary roads. Sanitation workers would then wipe out with rags to keep the facilities neat and tidy.
The cleaning crew has carried out refined cleaning work for over 80 public toilets in the precincts. Specifically, the cleaners promptly cleaned up the rubbish bins, replenished toilet rolls, wiped out toilet seats, picked up scattered cigarette butts around the area, increased the frequency of disinfection of the handrails and flushing buttons, to ensure a hygienic environment that avoids the breeding of mosquitoes and flies.
Waste collection and transfer team has extended collection time, increased collection frequency, and flexibly adjusted transfer routes to ensure that household waste is cleaned up on a daily basis, meanwhile, ensuring the waste does not fall to the ground during uploading to and offloading from the trucks.
